One square mile, one million people.

The Kibera district in Nairobi is one of Africa’s largest slums. Most Kibera residents eke out their livings on less than $1 per day. Conditions are wretched, yet still there is dignity and hope. Strathmore University students and staff play an active role in serving the needs of Kibera through their participation in Strathmore’s Community Outreach Program.
